The hardened adhesive is similar to conventional adhesives, able to withold thrust during expansion, while the resistance against shrinkage is very low. This flexibe Silane modified-Prepolymere cream coloured adhesive is very similar to the MS polymer based wood adhesives for concrete floor. It is suitable for Installing timber flooring to:
Concrete floors / sand and cement screeds
Floors levelled with levelling compounds (atleast 2mm thick) resistant against plasticizer migration.
Chipboard (V100)
Ceramic / Porcelain tiles
Metals, other dry and sound sub floors.
The adhesive hardens by a chemical reaction with moisture.
1. 1- Component, easy to handle.
2. Soft Elastic
3. Water & Solvent free, nearly no swelling of wood.
4. Good adhesion to almost all substrates and timber materials. Splashed materials can be easily removed.
5. Firm texture -retains trowel pattern.
COVERAGE: One KG normally covers 1 square meter on a level floor. The substrate must in general be even, totally dry, clean, free from cracks and physically sound. If the subfloor is problematic(eg weak surface, missing damp proof membrane) use R410. A broadcasting of sand into R410 can be omitted, if the surface of R410 stays clean and the parquet is glued with R850 within 24hours.The parquet should be laid on evenly spread adhesive using a notched trowel and pressed down for aaprox 20 minutes.
After 24 to 48 hours it is possible to apply load or stress to the floor. Sanding and the application of a surface coating may be carried out after 2 to 4 days depending on the type of parquet, absorbency of the substrate and room climate.
Storage / transport: The temperature must not fall below +5'C or exceed +25"C during storage and transport.
Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated place.
Shelf life: 6 months
Pack size: 7 Kilo ( also available in 15 kg tubs)
